Why is the NHS still dishing out 10,000 prescriptions a year for painkiller co-proxamol?

Ailsa Bosworth, founder of the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society, took co-proxamol for the condition for decades before her doctor stopped prescribing it in 2015, but almost died mixing it with alcohol.
